Nightlife - LoDo

The first permanent structure
built in "boomtown Denver" was supposedly a saloon, and the city has been
building on that tradition ever since. Today, there are sports bars, dance bars,
lots of brew pubs, outdoor cafes, English pubs, Old West saloons, art-deco bars,
and a few bars we dont want to discuss here... LoDo, which has been renovated
and upgraded, now attracts all the smart Gen-Xers and other young professionals.
Its trendy nightspots are often noisy and crowded, but if youre looking for
action, this is where its at. Other strips can be found along Broadway, and
along Colfax Avenue.
